Hi, I’m Hailey – the baker behind BlackSmiths Bakery
21 years old, fueled by faith, flour, and big dreams from my little kitchen in Lubbock, Texas.
I’m a full-time college student studying early childhood education, and when I’m not in class or writing papers, you’ll most likely find me in the kitchen—elbow-deep in dough, music playing, three dogs at my feet, and my sweet boyfriend nearby cheering me on (or stealing cookies fresh off the pan).

Hi there! I’m Hailey—21 years old and the proud baker behind BlackSmiths Bakery. I live in Lubbock with my amazing boyfriend and our three sweet (and slightly spoiled) dogs. I’m currently studying early childhood education, but my heart has always had a place in the kitchen.
Baking started as a creative outlet—something I turned to when life felt overwhelming or fast. But the moment I made my first sourdough loaf, something clicked. I loved the patience it required, the way it relied on intuition and care. Baking became my therapy, my passion, and eventually, my small business.
The name BlackSmiths Bakery has its own special story too. It’s a blend of my last name and my boyfriend’s—Black and Smith. A little nod to the life we’re building together, with roots in tradition, love, and a whole lot of dough.
My kitchen is where rustic meets real. I bake everything by hand, in small batches, with time, intention, and heart. From chewy sourdough loaves and cookie boxes to cozy cinnamon rolls and custom charcuterie boards, every order is personal to me. My goal is to make food that feels like home—whether you’re grabbing a treat for yourself or gifting something to someone you love.
